I have my second PB13 Ultra on the way (monday or tuesday delivery) so when I set up the UMC1 today I used an RCA splitter wire I picked up from monoprice a while back. When I use this wire I lose subwoofer sound.. When I remove the wire, and place the original wire back in the UMC1, the sub works fine.
How do I fix this? Better/proper RCA splitter?

sounds like the splitter is shot. you may just need to try another one.

Sounds like a bad splitter. Having said that, remember that there are two subwoofer outputs on the UMC-1. One balanced(XLR plug) and one unbalanced(RCA plug). If I'm not mistaken, they are both active. If you don't want to get an XLR cable, then get an XLR to RCA adapter like this: www.provantage.com/hosa-technology-gxf-132~AHOST01F.htm
