Anyone know with the Opt/Coax outputs if all sources (analogue) are output or just the digital pairs.
Looking to get audio out into my MAC via optical for a long run of lightpipe.

I assume you're referring to the UMC-1 here. The UMC-1 has A/D converters, so it can output your analog sources over the digital outs. That said, the digital output is SPDIF, not Lightpipe, and the two are completely incompatible protocols.

but the medium is the same....and yes the UMC-1 - I thought that would be implied. Thanks for the reply...also means I can pump source out to another room or 2  |
