First off, I haven't had the UMC for long, but from what I've seen so far, I like it. It replaced my LMC and certainly seems to be more user friendly and I really like not having to mess with the HDMI switcher when I watch movies.
Okay, I suppose this could double as a SQZ question, but how do I get UMC On Screen Display when I'm watching broadcast TV? There's no video out on my TV and I don't have cable or satellite, so the TV tuner is the only one I have. I'm basically displaying the native image from broadcast on the screen and exporting the audio stream to the UMC. Problem is, seems to me, that there's no video loop through the processor. What am I missing?

Winger, you're not missing anything. You're in the same boat that some of the rest of us are. It's not a UMC-1 issue, it's an issue with a lack of foresight from the respective television manufacturers. Of course, that takes us back to the "content owners" whom would never allow an image to be exported from the monitor on which it is displayed. So, here you and I are, with no OSD option from our processor when watching television content.
