I installed the new FW using my old WinXP laptop, running in Safe Mode. The entire process to load the FW took me about 20 minutes or thereabouts. Everything loaded exactly as documented.
I wrote down all my settings prior to the reload so I could reset everything. When I ran EmoQ after the upgrade the first run through was way off again, so I reran it immediately and it was a lot closer on the distances, but still wrong vs. reality. For instance, it had my left surround marked as 0.5 ft away! Most of the crossovers were still messed up with 250 Hz values, and I know absolutely for certain none of my wiring is reversed, but EmoQ says3 of my channels are reversed.
I've pretty much just given up on expecting EmoQ to be of any real use. But in my opinion that is not a showstopper of any sort.
