I have a 64x windows seven machine. I tried emos updated and emontics updater, niether would register my umc. My pc was not seeing it. Did a little googling and figured it out. Go to control panel, divece manager, find universal serial bus, in the list of devices you will find usbxpress. Right click it and hit update. After that it all works excellent. Hopefully this may help.

i did the self executing from emonatics and it did not work. This is a way to let the pc update to the correct one. just another way of doing it.

That's really weird that the Emonatics update didn't work. If anyone else reports this same scenario I'll get your solution here added to the site somewhere.
