Greetings All,
Currently investigating a good value pre/pro; the lack of HDMI on the RSP-1098 other than a pricey 3x1 v1.1 switch (no audio processing), is causing headaches.
Any 1098 owners who switched to UMC-1 with BDP-83 SE, I would very much appreciate your comments on the analog 2 channel and analog multichannel and bitstream hdmi.
Will the XMC-1 have:
i.native DSD for SACD?
ii.RCA, as well as XLR pre-outs?
iii.headphone output?
iv.PAL support?
v.115/230Volt autoswitch?
vi.the same faceplate design as UMC-1, XPA-1,etc?
vii.multiple HDMI outputs?
viii.HDCD support?
ix.video processing bypass?
x.multiple sub outs?
xi.Radio capabilities beyond straight FM?
Regarding power amps:
i.Are all XPA-? and UPA-? amps 115V/230V autoswitch?
ii. Is it possible to order XPA-1 with a different speaker out configuration? The + and - terminals on opposite sides of the chassis necessitate me to re-terminate my speaker wires.
