i searched with no luck but i thought they were now shipping the new style remotes?
i got mine today and it has the small plastic one.
(granted i use a universal remote but still)

As I understand it, only those that own the USP and UMC will get the new remote (with the new codes). There will be an option to purchase for everyone else.

I don't know if they are available for purchase, yet. I do think they are sending them out to the USP/UMC owners, though. May just have to wait a bit for the option to buy.
