I understand why they wanted to hold off on the last release and try to squash as many bugs as possible. I believe that the nature of the beast here dictates a change in approach with the 2 major firmware releases under your belt. From what I can tell there are a couple (possible) showstopper bugs. The most prominent being loss of audio and the occasional extreme volume. What I'm thinking is that it might be a good idea to take a page from Oppo's book and start releasing beta builds (that will also allow you to go back to previous version). This will get you a lot more testing done in as many different scenarios as possible. It will also let you attack the major issues that are keeping people from buying the unit. It's always quicker to tackle one or two issues at a time.
I added a poll to see what peoples thoughts are about this approach. I've also put in a spot for differing opinions.
