Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the 2012 blu-ray and the UMC-1. I have a Panasonic DMP-60 BD; patched to the latest. Have also patched the the latest v6 FW on the UMC-1. I just don't get any audio whatsoever. Other blus play fine (watched the Informant last night). Is there something special about this movie audio format? UMC-1 is detecting as DTS-HD but is just no playing any sounds. I've restarted the BD, the UMC-1, tried changing the audio options on the BD no luck. I know the disk works; I've played it on my HTPC which is in another room no problem.... Any help would be really appreciated..

^ Just to test this out, I played 2012 on my v6 upgraded UMC and had no problems with audio.
I did not have any issues with audio before the update also.

You might try a direct connection to your TV to see if it gets sound, this will verify the player is sending the audio (I suspect it is) them we can start troubleshooting the UMC

Played 2012 a couple of nights ago, no prob. Using UMC v5 + panasonic DMP-BD35. although the bd35 setup was always a little screwy. Set audio to bitstream and secondary audio to 'off'
Sounded pretty awesome too.

Thanks everyone. The only way I got it working was by setting the audio to PCM for DTS-HD. The Dolby stuff doesn't seem to be a problem with the UMC-1. I'm going to try another one this week in bitstream (which was how it was originally set).
As for the film, it wasn't worth the effort, but the effects were excellent as was the sound and video experience. ;D
