spent 3 to 4 hours trying to upgrade to v6. Wednesday 4/14 Kept getting stuck after opening the installer and installing dsp1flash file. The umc would come on turn blue and get stuck no response. Called emotiva said it must be the computer send it in. They would do the firmware upgrade. I ask them how long the turn around time is they said when they get the umc they would do the upgrade and send it out the same day. So i scrambled around unhooked everything packed it up and ran down to UPS. It cost $21 dollars including shipping. Emotiva received the unit Friday afternoon. I called talked to jana she checked to see if they received the unit which in fact they did, she said they would get it out friday if they have a chance to do it. If not they would send it out Monday 4/19. I called monday talked to jana again she said something could not understand her, she said it would go out tueday. I am not holding my breath

hmlevine, I'll check into this tomorrow AM and find out if your unit was returned.
You should not have had to pay for the freight to return this to us. We have stated that we will cover freight both ways for the SW updates; my apologies. This will be refunded to you. Best regards, Dan

Best regards, Dan There must be some confusion at the Emotiva office, because I was also told by tech support on Wed. that I would have to pay shipping to send the unit back for update.
