While browsing the config options for the ATi HDMI output, I noticed there is some kind of auto-calibration system for the sound in there.
Has anyone with a 5xxx series card tried this? I've not yet as my UMC-1 has not arrived and my Yamaha has no HDMI.
Given the massive processing power of a 5 series card, it could be interesting to see what it is capable of.
What mic they expect you to use is another matter - I will give it a go with my Yeti once the UMC-1 arrives and do some EQ comparison graphs with EmoQ/FLAT etc.
