Ok, so I have about a week to go to return my UMC-1. My question is to Dan and Lonnie.
Am I suppose to get and RMA and return the unit and then re-purchase it when you get the firmware or are you going to extend the return policy until you get 6.1 sent out.
Please let us know so we can plan appropirately?
Thanks JV

With only a week left, I would suggest that you call them. They only have so much time to cruise the forum.

I'm sure if you emailed Emo requesting an extension until the next update they would be forthcoming. If you send it back you will then go to the back of the line if you want to re-purchase later.

Come on guys, pay attention. Big Dan has stated, more than once, that the 30-day clock will NOT start ticking until a stable FW is released. This same exact concern was raised with the previous firm ware release and Dan came on to reassure everyone that they will NOT be left twisting in the wind. I don't know if you are too new to have seen the several posts by Emotiva stating that you will be given a full 30-day trial with a stable UMC-1 before having to make a final decision.
Emotiva's word is worth its weight in gold. They have a long history of doing what ever it takes to ensure their customers are happy with their purchase. Do not panic. You will be given the opportunity to fully evaluate your unit. ;D
