i have the UMC and i actually asked via telephone when ordering about the sub outs. it has one balanced and your standard sub out. i asked if both can be used simultaneously was told "yes" as in having 2 subs. but im having doubts.
can anyone confirm this ? (as i havent a second sub yet)

Even if it didn't have that second output you could just use a Y-splitter and run two subs which would also mean not having to run a second long cable from the UMC-1 to your sub(s). That is if you use the splitter at the sub end and not the UMC-1 end.

Honestly, I'm not sure about that. I would think actual physical placement of the subwoofers would have more to do with it than anything. I would want everything else to be the same as far as settings like crossover and level. I don't know about separate tuning from the UMC-1. From what I read it doesn't even tune a single subwoofer correctly at this point.

Even though there are 2 outputs it is still only a single feed. There is no separate tuning of the 2 subs. So it is basically an internal splitter (simplified explanation). This was discussed quite a while ago and Lonnie had confirmed it.

add an Antimode-8033 for each sub and you're good to go.
