I will be taking delivery on my UMC-1 in a couple of weeks and I'm starting to organize my thoughts on the wiring. I currently have a Velodyn ULD-18, and the "Power Servo Controller" assumes you will be inputing a right and left channel from the preamp (see attached diagram). How do I utilize the single XLR Subwoofer output from the UMC-1? Plug it into a splitter?
Thanks.

nice sub! i've got the ULD 15. i use an rca cable, not xlr, connected to the left input on the servo. i don't think a splitter is really needed - can't remember if the manual specifically addresses this setup.

I can find no reference to my situation in the UMC-1 manual. Am hopeful that someone from Emotiva (Lonnie?) might be able to give me the preferred approach.

No need for a splitter. Treat the sub out as a mono input and run a rca cable to either the left or right as stated in the manual. (page 5)
The L & R inputs gets summed internally anyway which is why this will work.

I have a single XLR plugged into my Velodyne FSR-18 and the volume is on "4" and it can shake the windows.
