If I choose passthrough whenever I change resolutions I get a message about resolution not supported by display so AVR resolution set to fallback.

If I choose Auto it picks 720p60 (as it should) so I can tell its getting the right info from the EDID. However if I set the UMC to passthrough and then set the source to 720p60, 1080i60 even 480P I get that error that its not supported. Anyone else see something similar?

Perhaps you can add your gear to your sig? It may be display/source dependant.

It probably is. My projector is ancient and uses DVI - it needs to be replaced but the economy has not been too kind lately. Passthrough not working for me is low priority since I was planning on just setting to 720P and leaving it there. I was only trying passthrough to see if it would help my 720P to 720P issue (which is a big issue - posted about here emotivalounge.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=preamps&action=display&thread=11203)
