Hi all and everyone at Emotiva...
I have now had my UMC1 for approx. two weeks now - and I must say, that this is one (if not the one) of the greatest upgrades and piece of equipment, I have ever had in my home cinema...
I have had units from Harman Kardon (8500), Arcam (350), Onkyo (875 and 905), Rotel, and Marantz (7002 and 6004) - lately only using these recievers as processors... and NOTHING and I seriously mean nothing of these come close to the performance of the UMC. I wil not go into details, but just conclude that the sound is - in every way - so much better than ever before....
On a side note my wife for the first time ever, expressed WOW with this upgrade.. If anything else this must conclude the effect the UMC1 has done to my setup...

In stereo it is also surprisingly good - I had to disconnect my USP-1 due to the remote-issue - and I must say that the UMC is so close in performance, that I might not connect the USP back in the loop (UMC can correct for distance and make use of EQ, while the USP cannot).
And the customization options is just the absolute greatest, I have ever seen....
There are still a few issues, but I am just so happy, that I can live with a few mistakes of hers.......
As source to the UMC I have a Tvix6500, xbox360 and a Sony 760 BD connected through a DVDO Edge (video set to pass through in UMC).
I would like to congratulate the Emotiva Team on making such a incredible unit to such an incredible price.... you had some "birth"-problems, but have shown unmatched speed and commitment in correcting and responding to these... I can only imagine how that would have gone into the "wild" with some of the "big guys".
Now - back to some listening.......
