Lonnie, is it possible to add a memory feature that would allow saving settings and that would be preserved even when resetting to factory default? It would also be nice to be able to save several settings.

Maybe this can be saved back to the PC? if there is communication in both directions then this should be possible. Likewise it could be easy to save different settings to try different setups and revert back later.
Or if the other USB port works then maybe saved to a USB flash drive. Maybe Lonnie can enlighten us to what this other USB port is for.

It would also be nice to be able to save several settings. It was originaly designed to retain the settings even after a software update. One thing we have found is depending on the computer used to do the update, it can cause glitches in the ram. So we just recomend you do a reset to clear any potential issues.

Does that mean there is no possibility of having memories to store settings for different purposes?

I found the multiple memory positions on my Yamaha to be very useful. Even (as mentioned) being able to save out one's settings (backup) would be great.
