Hi, I have an XPA-2 Amp. Every time I turned off the Amp, there is a turn-off thump coming from the speakers. I haven’t heard this before. Anyone has experienced this problem? How can I avoid or fix it? The XPA-3 doesn’t have this problem where I have the center and rears. My configuration is: UMC-1, XPA-2 and XPA-3, Paradigm Studio 60 V.5 Thanks! Matt

sounds like a trigger issue... maybe should be in the UMC-1 forum...

Papajac,
Has this thump occurred since new, or is it a new symptom? If you were to turn on the xpa-2 manually while everything else remained off, does it still happen?
If so it may be an amp problem.

It has to do with the preamp and trigger delay. ...A longer delay should do the trick.

Have you tried to adjust the trim level on your UMC-1? Your problem has to do with the trigger level I believe. Try setting the levels to zero if they aren't set that way already or as low as possible. Dave
