Hey Just saw the new UMC-1 billet-remote, very nice piece Have anyone heard anything about a billet-remote for the USP-1 ? If it is possible, it would be nice to have the opportunity to control the ERC-1 with the same remote aswell. Then You only need one rock-solid remote in your hand to control everything

There will be a billet remote available for purchase in the near future. I believe it will be available about the same time that the XSP-1 becomes available. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're real handy, you can make your own stainless steel milled billet remote control. ...Not the inside electronics circuitry but the outside envelope only.

I can't imagine it's actually carved from a billet (a solid piece of metal). I'd guess it starts life as an extrusion and then it visits the milling machine for a few holes, notches, and maybe a step here or there.
By the way, if you look at the product page you will notice there is no mention of the word billet....even though it has been used elsewhere.
Sorry for being picky here, but I've carved enough aluminum to have become kinda touchy about details.
But what do I know?
