UMC-1 audio drop-out when format change- is it happens when playing bluray disc when in the disc main manual-usually in dolby digital (640kbps) then change to, say, DTS-HDMA?

Happens to me also, using beta 3 version of FW. It's unfortunate because I like to compare the audio tracks on my discs on the fly. |

BTW, is the volume burst out issue still remains?

I'm on beta2 and have not ever had a volume burst (*knocks on wood*). I also haven't encountered the audio dropouts on BD (although I have them some from my cable box), which is why I haven't upgraded to beta 3 - I'm afraid of introducing more problems.
