I am finally going to enjoy an Emotiva product. Just purchased a DMR-1 on EBay for $600.00. This replaces an Onkyo TX SR701 6.1 receiver that has served me well. It's been used to run a 6.1 set up with all Ascend CMT 340SE's. To say I can't wait for the upgrade is an under statement.

Got the new / used DMR-1 connected last night. First I'm more about the audio than the video. However it sounds great even though I have not tweaked the speaker settings. Like the footage and stuff. Already the sound stage and depth are greatly improved. I also have more clean power for louder listening but hardly ever do that. In fact I feel a better test is what you hear at lower volume. At lower volumes it still has great detail and staging. I know this isn't very technical but basically I am very impressed and wish I'd bought one sooner.
