Wow Only $500 to upgrade. Uuuuuuum no.. Think I will have to pass on this. And if the XSP-1 has all the feautures it is said to have, for the $700-900 price tag I am guessing at, than Parasound may need to wake up and get real about wanting 500 smackers for this upgrade..... IMHO.

I was kinda hoping it would have a headphone output, looks great otherwise.

Can anyone tell if it has tone controls?
Since the cat is out of the bag, I think Emotiva needs to give us better photos for increased drool factor.

Well, I think I'm really excited about the XSP now, because I think I can barely make out controls on the left hand side that say "Trim", "boost" and "Cut". I'm not sure about the two buttons to the left of that group though. I think they might possibly say Hf and Lf. Anyone else have an opinion on this. If this is indeed tone controls I am psyched and know there will be an XSP in my future. That was good advice from you all to wait and see after I was told by Emo via email that the XSP would not have tone controls. It appears that was bad information and I for one am thrilled (as long as what I think I see is really there). One other observation is that the unit does not appear to have a motorized volume control unless I just can't see it in these pictures. Exterior appearance is typical Emo awesome in my opinion. This baby will look sweet atop my ERC-1. Anyway, things are looking good to me. I really hope some better photos and solid specs come out soon. Thanks to Emonatics for this tasty morsel :-)

My laptop screen is not big enough to make anything out of the lettering.

Oh my, look at those wonderful Tiffany style RCA connections! Impedance selector for the Phono? Cool! Hopefully it won't have the nuclear blue illuminance, or HTBypass will work with it off... I'm not a fan of bright LEDs staring at me in the dark. However, I can't wait to see it at Emofest!

Bill - time to change emonatics.com to emoleaks.com? <laugh> Nice suggestion. Think of it more as a PrEmoView.

ossif, according to Emotiva, the preorder list is coming. I have no insight into it, really, but with Emofest just over a week away, I'm wondering if they aren't planning to open the preorder list at that time.
