Replace Denon 2309 with UMC-1 ?

Hello all,

I am using a receiver Denon 2309 at present to power my Dynaudio Audience 72 speakers and HT.

How much improvement I will get with UMC-1 processor instead of the Denon unit?

I also plan to use XPA-2 and 3 with it latter.

aptdoc, welcome to the forum.

I'm not familiar with your speakers but I have used a different Denon in the past. I liked the Denon sound. However, generally, moving from a receiver to a dedicated processor will gain SQ. So why not take advantage of Emo's return policy and try out the UMC-1 in your own room? Really, there's no substitute.
