Nessun Dorma! by Marc Hervieux/Metropolitan Orchestra/Yannick Nezet Seguin I consider my musical tastes to be pretty diverse, but am I the only one who has never heard/heard of any of the listed artists? Would the listed songs generally be used for the evaluation of audio equipment or are they part of your daily listening also? Enlighten me please.

It is my understanding that these are all artists of the record company who supplied the entertainment for Emofest.. but I could be wrong.

It's a great blend of bluegrass, jazz and classical, all very well recorded. Great for reference or casual background listening.
I've found that many of my favorite artists are somewhat obscure, non-commercial folks who stick to their roots and their fans. The longer I live, the more I have the opportunity to get to know these artists through friends, at shows and through associations like Emotiva. It's a rich tapestry and we are all lucky to be a part of it.
