Can anyone tell me if the measurement of the X-series cables (RCA in particular) is taken from tip to tip or is it just the wire part not including the connectors? I always thought it was total length but then Blue Jeans Cable lengths are only the wire portion.
Also, the 1 meter would be about 39" right? Thanks!

They are very well-built and transmit the signal very cleanly. I've used them throughout.
Plus, with the speaker cables, I must admit to a macho factor. They are fat and beefy. Impress your friends and yourself at a good price. ;D
I'm of the school that solid, basic cables are all you need. Spending four figures plus on cables strikes me as nuts. If I were rich enough to afford them, I'd consider them for a second, then go to Paris, then give some away to fund a school in an impoverished country.

I can't answer your first question, but here is a converter I use all the time. www.calculateme.com/Length/Meters/ToFeet.htm

I was doing a little re-arranging and remembered your question about X series cable length. I took the opportunity to measure one of my 1 meter cables. 40.5" tip to tip. From where the exposed metal portion of the connector first meets the plastic piece to the same point on the other end is 39.5".
