Hello All,
I was wondering could I use the upa 1 bi amp to power my Maggie MC1s? I want to send 1 signal to the upa-1 but power the MC1s.
I currently have a UPA-7 and I use 2 channels from that to run my MC1s as a center channel.... the MC1s are two speakers that you hang on a wall and use a one center channel. I have the center output from the receiver split using a RCA splitter and it is split into two channels on the UPA7.
Thanks in advance

If you are asking if you can properly power your MC1's through one UPA 1, the answer is no, because it's one channel. Plus, it's not a good idea to power two 4 ohm speakers off of one UPA1.

Unless you wire them maggies in series, then you have an 8-ohm load. The question is, would you do such disservice to maggies? Other options in order of wallet damage - easiest to hardest: Option 2, 2 UPA-1s. Option 3, 1 XPA-2. Option 3, 1 XPA-1. Apparently, the XPA-1 will still be stable at 2 ohms.
