Hopefully we'll get a review soon - specifically addressing the driver availability. Yes, especially the FedEX driver's ability to drive fast.

Special requests from the staff include but are not limited to: - Fresh baked Italian bread - Sour Patch Kids (if you really want to win Dan's heart) - Grandma C's Chocolate - Jet's Pizza (there's one right down the road from us that you can stop by on your way in!) - Chipotle burritos THANKS! ;D

Just hooked it up. Y'all are gonna love this thing. Lonnie did good. Really good. :-) Gotta start some laundry and will then listen more and elaborate. I will say that First impressions exceed my expectations. Currently playing Norah Jones.

Currently using my Sony Blu-ray as a transport so I can directly compare the XDA-1 to the ERC-1. First impressions, smooth, sweet, and detailed. Currently run thru the USP-1 for switching and bass management. May try direct later but it will be with only monitors and no sub.

Just fyi, it doesn't come with a trigger cable so you want to make sure you have one handy and also the volume comes set to max so be sure to turn it down if your using it as your Pre so you don't blow your speakers or scare the crap out of somebody. Also no paperwork but not really needed for something like this I suppose. Loving it so far.

Differences noted: Smoother, richer, more natural sound with a little quieter background letting me hear the details slightly better. The quieter background surprises me as I thought it was dead quiet before. With that said, the differences are relatively subtle but they are clearly noticeable to me. If your one of the guys that can not hear a difference between different interconnects and speaker cable, then you MAY not be able to tell a difference between the ERC-1 and the XDA-1 as it is a somewhat of a subtle difference(at least when both run through the USP-1). The improvement the XDA-1 brings is very noticeable to me and I'm super happy with the extra "magic" it's added to my system so far. With the sound quality it offers, and the ability to use it as a Pre for all digital sources, and at the price it's offered at, it's a "no brainer" and a "must have" in my book. Especially if you use a 2.1 or 2.2 system as you can run all of your digital audio sources(tv box, blu-ray, dvd, etc...) through it and get awesome SQ. The short of it, highly recommended, get ya one. :-)
