Looks awesome! I agree with adding the handles. I think it would finish it off nicely.

I'm voting for aluminum handles, the same color as ther faceplate. I think it will be a real clean look! ;D

If the handles look anything like the old Carver power amplifiers, that would look killer.

Does the new face plate do away with the XPA-5 transformer hum? If so, then I need one now!
Great work Matt! It seems like your designs are getting better and better.

What do you guys think of it I like it, but to be honest I like the simplistic design that your UPA-1's faceplates had better but thats just my personal preference Good work for sure though.

What do you guys think of it You do some great work, but the 'X' design is a little to busy for me and it reminds me too much of...

Color to match the faceplate is my vote. Agreed - but colouring the whole thing black.

Matt, I luv your new XPA-5 front plate! * I would like to ask you this: What was the weight (exactly) of that XPA-5 front face plate, before you started the engraving? ...And after?

Looks a lot better with the handles. I like the way you cut the inside of the handle mounts the same angle as the X cutouts. Very nice!

WOW that`s just insane , have you thought of just cutting 5 slots for each channel so you can see the lights so if a channel has a fault for example you can see it or maybe there just to close together for that
