I havent found any with my setup. I ran it directly into the power amps using the balanced outputs and I had a range of 2-25 with which to play.
The 0.5 increments were perfect in my system.

You're lucky, not the same for me.
Your B&Ws are 90dB@1W1M, my Klipsch are 99dB@1W1M.
On the same hardware except for speakers, your volume range of 1-23 is compressed to 1-8.
As it is there is no 0.5 dB step.
These are the steps for the first 10 volume positions:

10 -18.1 0.9
9 -19.0 1.0
8 -20.0 1.2
7 -21.2 1.3
6 -22.5 1.6
5 -24.1 1.9
4 -26.0 2.5
3 -28.5 3.5
2 -32.1 6.0
1 -38.1 NA
Except for this one issue the XDA-1 is a wonderful unit and sounds just great.
