Hello, has anybody biamped their xpa-5, currently only running 3 channels, have not purchased rears yet, concerned whether I could damage amp only running 3 channels and was considering biamping fronts. Thanks

As long as you aren't cranking it to max volume, you should be fine. Give it a try and see if you like it.

I currently have my Legacy Focus (10 driver 3-12" woofers) bi-amped using the XPA-5. I've always had then bi-amped. Used my receiver and Yamaha M-65 prior. I really notice the advantage during reproduction of very low frequencies. The XPA-5 seems to reproduce them with more authority. The Legacy's are very good speakers with excellent non-distorted bass. The XPA-5 makes them better.
