I'm trying to learn more about the equipment I own and was wondering if the USP-1, as a preamplifier (sans the phono and headphone stage), is active or passive. I tried searching on the matter and didn't find anything so if someone out there can help me with this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Preamp: Emotiva USP-1

Headphones: Grado SR225
