I had a water line break and it flooded my basement over the weekend. I was able to save all my electronics and my billiard table. The only thing I lost was my Sony RV 3000 Remote. I have had the remote about seven years and was able to basically do everything with it. I see that allot of forum members here use the Harmony 1 remote, so I Googled Harmony One on my Iphone and saw something that said not buy the Harmony but to buy a Nstinct Remote. Has anyone here tried this remote or heard of it ? Its only 29.95 now and looks like it has lots of things the Harmony One does for a much better price. www.x10.com/promotions/ir34a_ed_premiere_0722.html?t5

You know the saying "too good to be true"? Well that most likely applies here lol. It has some kind of crappy built in setup wizard that does not require a PC (which makes it faster to set up, but what about updates? future device support? Custom named devices and activities? delay setting?). Also the Harmony One is a touch screen device while this is not. It looks like a URC knock off. I mean this would likely get the job done, but I would not expect an awesome experience with it... Stick with a quality unit like the Harmony One. Or since you seem to just be wanting a cheaper remote why not the Harmony 650? www.bestbuy.com/site/Logitech+-+Harmony+650+5+Device+Universal+Remote/9837565.p?id=1218181914598&skuId=9837565&st=harmony&cp=1&lp=2

I totally agree with bigred. If you don't go for the Harmony One. You can still get a very functional Harmony for less money. I have a Harmony 520 and 570. These have been some of the best investments I have ever made. My family just pushes the "activity" they want, such as "watch a BluRay". And Voila, everything is good to go. Even my 4yr old is starting to use it.
just my 2 cents but the Harmonys are worth it, and I'm sure the other similar remotes are also.

You can check out Xsight products as well. Less $ than the Harmony products but similar features. My only complaint is their data base.I had to teach the UMC-1. Otherwise I have no issues.....ok the motion sensor that turns the display on is ultra sensitive. Does everything I need it to. Just an option for you to consider.

Paid only $49 a piece for my two Harmony 550s. ...Best remote ever for the money!

Looks like I will go with the Harmony One, where can I get the best deal on one of these ? Curious what everyone paid for the one they have ?
The youtube video does not show that much information about the Nstinct remote to make we want to take a chance on it.
I trust that the Harmony One will do just fine.

Price goes up and down, but $149 would be the One! {I've seen it at $139 once or twice.} * Just check Amazon regularly, or just Google "Harmony One best prices".
