Sorry for the newbie question, but here goes: Does it make any sense to try to integrate an XDA-1 into an already existing home theater system or is the presumption that you would typically put together a dedicated reference stereo system for the XDA-1?
I currently have: Denon AVR-3311CI Emotiva USP-1 (using HT bypass mode to accommodate both stereo and HT at the moment) Emotiva ERC-1 Two Emotiva XPA-1's(left and right) One Emotiva XPA-5 (center, sl, sr, sbl, sbr)
Any way to insert the XDA-1 into that system with the other stuff?
Thanks.

Thx for the responses. Another thought I want to run by you. Could I connect the XDA-1 to the balanced inputs of my XPA-1s and leave the USP-1 connected to the unbalanced inputs of the XPA-1s so that when I use the ERC-1 and XDA-1 I have the most direct and highest fidelity connection possible? I realize that this would entail my moving the toggle switch on the XPA-1s everytime I switched between sources (USP-1 and XDA-1).

I believe it has been said that the balanced/unbalanced togle on the back of the X-series amps are not made to be switched back and forth several times. Depending on how many times you would do this and how lucky you are would determine how long they would last. Other than that I'm sure you could use that method, for a while.
