Dann, I thought you had just misspelled "castrated". I had to get out the dictionary after I stopped laughing about the mayhem that followed. Ok, let the mahem and castigating continue. . . Just make sure you are aware of where you are and who you are dealing with when you are thinking about "picking up tips". You never know what the guy's former profession was... right jhamilton? ;D

Hello Everyone! ;D Any news on the XSP-1? Thanks! Rodrigo Last I heard anything was months ago. At that time, Emotiva was "hoping" to have them around Feb 2010. There was no mention if that meant the beginning of the month or the ending of the month or somewhere in the middle. All we can do it wait and see if more news is forthcoming during the next few weeks. I wish that more accurate info was available. I wouldn't be too surprised it that date were to slip, because many projects were moved to the back burner while trying to bring the UMC-1 to market. On the plus side, Emotiva has hinted that they will be bringing a lot of new products to market during the first Quarter. ;D

In another XSP thread I ask the question
When XSP will come to the market
10 minutes later the thread is gone ..
"The thread you are trying to access does not exist"
Is this question that sensetiv ?
An another question .. Is the Phone stage comparable to external Riia stage ?

Hey everyone, I'm back. ;D
The XSP from the beginning is to be a top notch pre-amp in every regard. The first design was really good, but fell short in a few areas, so we made some changes to certain parts of the system. The next one was even better, but still not up to what I want it to be so we made a few more changes. Bottom line is, it is very close to being the pre-amp everyone is expecting it to be and once it gets there, I will cut it loose for full production. I know a lot of you have been patiently waiting and when it is released, it will be worth the wait. So I can't give you a release date yet, I got the latest sample in just before I had to leave town again, so I need to run it through the lab and see if it is there. But I do expect to cut it loose very soon. So just hang in there a little longer, it is coming. ;D

Thanks Mr. Lonnie!
I've been patiently waiting too for over a year, though I'm still patient and willing to wait more for the XSP-1 if I know through your updated feedback such like today, that you are continually working on it to potentially ensure it meets or exceeds the mark or SQ expectation!
Thanks for the update today and please don't rush to production if an an opportunity still exists yet for any further or refined improvements!

Lonnie, Thanks for the update. I am really looking forward to pairing up the Oppo BDP-95 with the XSP-1, XPA-2 and Magnepan 2.7s. It should sounds amazing.
I am curious as to what things you are upgrading between the different prototypes. Can you go into detail?

Thanks for the info Lonnie. If you can let any cats out of the bag, I would love to know if the trim controls can be engaged/disengaged and adjusted via the remote. I've been thinking about this baby for a long time :-)

Rather wait for perfection. Though the waiting is the hardest part.
