I agree about changing the thread title.

The title should be edited.
I'm expecting one by the weekend and reading this nearly ruined my breakfast!

I am glad that Emo is able to send my unit to my work address instead of home address since nobody is home during the day usually. I received my XDA-1 today earlier. I downloaded the manual but there was no manual included in the box. I don't need it but usually all other electronic equipments include some type of manual.

Although I do agree that if you didnt get an email the logistics (since signature is reqd) go for a loop. Although fedex does come around a few times to retry so it should be ok. Yeah, for what ever reason I didn't get any shipping notice either. Came home for lunch to find a FedEx door tag saying they couldn't leave the package due to mandatory signature requirement.

Yeah, I don't need manual for XDA-1 since it is straight forward. No big deal, it is working as it should.

The XDA is plug and play. There are no menus and sub-menus, calibration, settings, etc.
Every button does what it says with no layers. Mute On, Mute Off. Volume Up, Volume Down. Dim 1-5. Coax 1, Coax 2, USB, etc.

Thanks for the tip on Track by reference. I found out mine was delivered at work on Friday. I didn't get an invoice or tracking information this time. I usually do.

WOW, people are complaining more about the title of the thread then Emotiva not notifying customers that paid $330 for a product and didn't get any email or call that it was on its way, knowing a signature was required to get it.
But If I got some of your panties in a wad over the thread title, I am sorry!

I dont think its that but just sounds like something defective . If its an ordering issue then post that in the title so you dont send anyone into cardiac arrest

I was notified for all my Emotiva products I have brought over the years. Quite a few, even a XDA-1. May be a glitch on the current orders. Did you talk to Emotiva direct about it? So they can check it for future customers.

You should change the name of this thread for sure! I was thinking "Oh noooo" Agreed. The title as it is was uncalled for IMHO. absolutely.. before we start ranting and raving on this forum about a shipping issue - how about calling Emotiva and discussing with them first? You know - where somebody can actually do something about it and resolve the problem. I have had 7 purchase transactions (including most recently an XDA-1) with this company plus one warranty repair. I have never, and I mean never, experienced such prompt, fair and courteous customer service from any other business in my life - all 50 years of it - bar none. Sorry, but I believe in giving positive feedback where due and only trashing a reputation if all other efforts to resolve a problem have failed. * Now where is that pre-order list for the XSP-1 that was supposed to be out in January?
