Is this the correct setup using foobar for Win 7 64bit? I thought you were suppose to use wasapi but I cannot get 24 bit files to play at all with wasapi

Thanks, I just thought that with Windows 7 you were susspost to use Wasapi but when wasapi is selected I get the "cannot play file" I used WASAPI with Windows 7 and Vista. I usually use 16bit files so I don't have any issue. I know I tested it with 24bit, but I would have to revist that thread I posted to remember my exact findings.

I read the tread and it seems like the XDA doesn't do 24 bit with usb. If this is so then this is a bummer. I might send it back if I cannot get it to output 24 bit.
Were we miss-lead with what is posted on their website "The XDA-1 Differential Referenceā¢ balanced 24Bit/192kHz DAC/Digital Preamp represents a stunning achievement in sonic performance." They don't seem to post that 24Bit/192kHz USB is not supported

We have several Lounge Members who have posted using Foobar 2000 and J Rivers software to output 24/96 and 24/192 via USB on their XDA-1. Call Eric at Emotiva to get the necessary information for outputting HD audio files via the USB connection.
