Congrats, very nice! I have been looking at the exact same one, you will have to post your thoughts.
I think you must be a bad influence because you already got me to spend $$ to try and make my speaker cable look nice like yours, now you’re making me inpatient to get the onkyo! ;D

I will definately post my impressions as soon as I get everything dialed in. Ill have to wait for my 2 year old to take a nap today and run Audyssey XT32.
Chris, I got this thing for a steal! Not sure if I can post prices here, but got it from 6ave. They had plenty in stock and ran out. They are on national backorder currently.

I just am. I know the hazards of fiberglass insulation. I have been a firefighter for 14 years. I know that everyone uses it, but I wont. thanks though Fiberglass and rockwool are not safe materials to play with. I totally understand your hesitation to use either material. You can use the solid foam stuff Auralex puts out with the same effect. I'm really digging the dual symmetrical subs. very nice room!

I will probably go the cellulose route. Acoustimac has some 2x4x2 panels. good stuff.

did you attempt to make any cables yet? Not yet. After seeing your pictures I searched around to try and see how to make them. I ended up coming across a great article at AVS, maybe? I can't remember where it was, but it turned out to be you on another forum!! Anyway I have order all the stuff that you listed Tuesday, and it should start showing up next week. I just hope I can make them look like yours, instead of just screwing them up. You made it look easy enough with your step by step pictures

If I could find it for that I would by it in a heartbeat, but when I look the best I can do is MSRP at abit.com At least now I know where to look, I will be checking that site everyday until they come back in stock.

Sweeeeet-looking room and setup. I'm a Marantz fan but I've always admired Onkyo's AVR's as well. Great-looking subs too!
Congrats!
