Sweetness.
Is it me, or are those subs rather large (ie, thats a huge TV and they still look big).
Do you like them? They must rattle the room.

Very nice Nezff! A dedicated theater room for-sure Is that above your garage? how are the acoustics with the vaulted ceiling? That TV huge, makes that monster RC-64 look almost....small, and that is one of the biggest center speakers Ive ever seen. I really like the HT seating, how did you fit them upstairs it must have been a tight fit for-sure

Very nice. I suspect that room might sound a bit boomy given the way it's shaped - a couple of bass traps in the back and an absorptive panel or two on the ceiling would very likely bring it to the next level. Good work.

I think you could use some acoustically absorbent panels are called for too. Perhaps the horns on Klipsches have narrow enough dispersion that they don't have as many reflections.

thanks for all the wonderful comments guys!!
I do plan on getting acoustic panels sometime in the near future. Right now, I am currently in the process of a pre/pro upgrade. Yes, the room is above my garage. The room is 30x15.

Very pretty room, wish I had one like it. Nothing wrong with having two large subs (they look similar in size to mine), its not as if they are eighteen inch-ers. ATS Acoustics has some nice reasonably priced panels. I think getting the panels would do more for listening than a new pre/pro and you can start with just a couple. Pretty cables too, but they don't make a difference in sound IMHO.

The reason I have the acoustic panels on the back burner is because I just bought a Onkyo 5508. I have sold my 876 already to a forum member. ATS acoustics uses nothing but fiberglass which I am against having in a room with you. That is made to go in a wall, not outside.

Using fiberglass is perhaps the most effective sound control method, much more absorbtive than foam or cloth for the same size device. As long as the fiberglass is enclosed (like it is in the ATS panels) I don't understand why you'd be against using it...

I just am. I know the hazards of fiberglass insulation. I have been a firefighter for 14 years. I know that everyone uses it, but I wont. thanks though

Nice setup. Very clean. The Mitsu you have is nice but that room is begging for a big screen FP setup.
Best Regards,
JD

Im kicking myself everyday for not putting outlet and running some HDMIs before they closed up the room with drywall. Im still debating on it. Im still paying off some of the stuff left over from our house build, so some of the HT stuff will have to wait. Slowly but surely. thanks for the great comments.
