From user's experience, how far can you run a balanced XLR cable before SQ becomes an issue?
I am thinking about running a zone about 50ft away from my XDA-1.

I know they can go hundreds of feet on a stage. 50ft is easy!

It has more to do with the equipment. The output voltage and input gain affect this, as well as the gauge of the cable. That said, as jmilton said, 50ft should be easily accomplished with any gear and XLR cable built to specification.
