The UMC-1 Easy as ---?

Hello!

just got the UMC-1 this week and it is realy good. and the word is PIE there is nothing hard about setting it up, the one that cant set this one up shouldent have one. it is soooo simple, if you have some problems understanding just watch the video on how to set it up on the Main Emotiva site. if you still cant get it to work send it back and get a portable DVD player

i have exchange my Onkyo 875 for the UMC-1 and 2 UPA-1 (XPA-5 later on to get 7.1) and everything is better with the UMC-1 the it sound mutch cleaner, i cant burn my hand on it if i tuch it (yea it was that hot, couldn't hold my hand on it for mor then 3 sec). The UMC-1 is just barely even after 5 hours of gaming.

the menu is a smal popup menu so i can still se the movie or the things that i am doing on the cumputer/xbox/ps3 and still change the settings. The onyo exit everything and i just get a big blue screan and some text and i had to make all the settings there, no sound no movie no nothing.

So now that i know better i think my old Onkyo suck =P

Don't worry about your spelling or grammar. Your post was very easily understood. As a matter of fact, your post was easier to understand than a lot of native English speaking Lounge members have posted. Thank you for sharing your experience with the rest of the Lounge.

I am happy to see that you are enjoying your UMC-1. I have had my unit for 15 months now and I have thoroughly enjoyed using it ever since receiving it. I am a music lover and the UMC-1 is one of the best sounding HT processors I have listened to. I expect to get several more years of service from it. The UMC-1/USP-1 combination do everything I need and does it extremely well... at an exceptionally low price for the performance level. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
