A couple of TV shows that I have been catching up on (NETFLIX) and really enjoy them - higher recommend them.
Downton Abbey (English period drama during WWI - two seasons)
Damages (Legal thriller with Glenn Close - I think it has 4 seasons)
Walking Dead (Zombie Drama - 2nd season finished)
Sherlock (Modern day Sherlock Holmes)
Foyle's War (English detective during WWII)
There is some great stuff out there - just need to look for it.

You've gotta see this movie. You will laugh your ass off. People stood up & applauded & cheered during the credits. Haven't seen that in 12 years (THE GREEN MILE). The Incredible Hulk steals the show. Whedon & the screenwriter deserve all the accolades . RDJr is hilarious. One of the most enjoyable movie-going experiences ever. Just go see it,.

Watching Paul Mcartney on SNL. Too bad he can't sing worth a flip anymore. Oh, I disagree! (We should all be able to sing as well at age 70!). The real sad case is one of my absolute favorites of all time - Gordon Lightfoot's voice. Nearly completely gone now, but he 'champions on' touring still - and frequently. I think he wrote and performed some of the best music during the 1970's along with 1993's "Waiting for you" album - superb! |
