Hey all ,
First off, a little background .
I have always loved music. Listening , making and anything to do with music .
Music could solve most of the worlds problems if everyone would just listen

Music touch's your heart and soul and can be so moving that it can brings tears or smiles at the same time !
Since our children are all grown up and on their own, i though it was about time to put together a nice system for listening to music .
We have never had an audiophile quality system .
Always had sometime to listen with but not what we needed to truly hear .
I have worked in power plants for a long time as a mechanic so my hearing isn't stellar but it's still ok ( lol )
This past Christmas my most amazing wife bought me 2 UPA-1's as a start to our new
jaunt into the world of audiophile listening . (isn't she great
)
I have a close friend who has given me Loads of advice about audio equipment as he has always
been into audio since we were kids .He is the reason i went looking for some electrostatic speakers.
So I found a pair of Acoustat 2+2 speakers .
I picked up a Carver CT24 preamp and a Carver SD/A 360 cd player so we were on our way.
I can tell you that these amps, through the Acoustat's, has made my entire cd collection
seem like Ive never heard them before !!!
I'm not going to try and use all terms that audiophile reviews post about ,
all i can say is WOW !!!!!
