I don't recall seeing this last time I looked a couple of weeks ago, it was plain old $349 then. (I still remember just missing the spring special for $299 DOH! )
Regular Price: $399 Special Sale Price: $349* *while supplies last
What do you make of "while supplies last" ? Why not just "for a limited time only" ?

I think your right, it did seem like the price increased a bit . Well, i'm sure it's still definitely worth every penny though

if you want it you should definitely purchase it before the price increases

So no hints of an updated model? I believe this is relatively new for that to be coming so soon, barring MAJOR shortcomings.
but that "while supplies last" got me spooked. Maybe its a firmware update type of thing (?) - so mostly just an annoyance... I've seen that on various HD equipment - is it a possibility here??

ALL the items on sale for the memorial day special said "while supplies last".. . I think it's just an odd phrasing - meaning more along the lines of limited time offer, like jeffery suggested.

Meaning, in my interpretation of things, that if they run out of the item during the sale, they won't order more or offer any rain checks. Basically, if it's in stock, you get it at the sale price. If it runs out, the sale for that item is basically over.

Maybe their getting ready to surprise us with an XDA 2 like they did with the ERC 2. Possibly "while supplies last" is a hint. Hopefully they make the XDA 2 to handle 32/384 with a USB, that seems to be on the horizon on this never ending numbers game. Take a look at the Young DAC- M2Tech 32/384khz, IT'S ONLY 1,499$!

Every Sale that Emotiva has contains the phrase "while supply lasts". There is no hidden meaning or any ulterior motive. They are simply saying the Sale Price is effective only for product that is in stock. Once gone the Sale Price will not be honored on future shipments received. Nothing more, nothing less.

There is simply no such thing as "32 bit" sound. It does not exist in air, and certainly couldn't be recorded or played back--it would only be an 8-20 zero padding on every sample.

Yeah I'm hoping for an XDA-2 in the upcoming product releases aswell. An upgrade to the USB to support higher bitrates plus bass management/HT bypass would be nice (kinda like a toned down USP-1/XSP-1 with a DAC) - this way, I could do away with the stereo preamp altogether.
