Hello from heat baked Texas. Very interesting forum to go along with the most excellent Emotiva audio gear. Discovering Emotiva was like finding an oasis in a barren desert. Great stuff from a great company. I couldn't be happier.

Welcome to the Lounge.
Judging from your signature I believe you may be in audio nirvana. Congrats.

Thank you barryrobin. I was born in Palmdale California many years ago. Somehow, I ended up in Texas. Not sure what I did wrong. geebo, I am familiar with Alief. Don't know if you've been back lately but it has grown and you probably wouldn't recognize it. RPA-1 man. You're right! The ERC-2 cd player is a giant killer. I have many hdcd discs and they never sounded better. I was a tube user for a long time. As long as Emotiva exists, I'll never make that mistake again.

Don't know if you've been back lately but it has grown and you probably wouldn't recognize it. I was back around 15 years ago for a visit and couldn't believe all the changes then. I'm sure there have been many many more since then. Is the traffic still and issue?

Thank you LCSeminole. I viewed some of the past EmoFests here on the site. I'm afraid if I show up there, they'll get the rest of my money.

Greetings fellow emotiva audio enthusiast and mix component enthusiasts like myself. I haven't hooked up my emotiva gear yet, but just put together my BEST and MOST LIVE sound 2 channel stereo in my 33 yrs of hi fi and audiophile experimenting. I just hooked up my pahxton integrated tube amp using YYA chinese/canadian filtered speaker cable and ac power cord cable connected to both my ESS HEIL 1D modified (I modified it by changing the front drivers and putting it into the REAR replacing the PASSIVE radiator with the fronts, and putting in the FRONTS a pioneer ts w 303 car subwoofer and created a DIPOLAR design doing everything that maggies do but with bass and reflection that bose do but with real drivers and tight realistic bass and the imaging is LIVE). I've improved the entire imaging and bass response of the ESS HEIL 1D entirely new level with this set up and using dakiom feedback stabilizers on my tubed cd player from grant fidelity cd 427 that uses a blue laser. This set up is audio nirvana for me. I still yet to connect my carver/sunfire and ohm walsh 300 mk 2 upgraded to 3000 system. I might use my modified NAD C 542 by R.A.M on that one. That will be high SPL SS system, and my other SS system will be emotiva XPA 5 with the USP 1 and ERC 2 using dakioms and carver sonic holography and my ht will be my SUNFIRE TGR 401 using the CRM 2 ribbon speaker and SLS HTR 8 ribbons, usi
