Good morning. I am going to be hosting a little listening get together at my house in San Antonio on Saturday, July 9th. I will provide all food and beverage needed. I figure anyone interested can start showing up around noon.
Anyone interested in bringing a pair of speakers or any other audio component is welcome to do so. I figure we can throw a system together in the living room and one in my very modest home theater (only seats 4).
Just PM me if interested and I will send you my address.

I can bring my old Yamaha DVD-C750 CD/DVD/SACD/DVD-A player, it's been retired but, still works well and sounds pretty good for it's age. Also My Design Acoustics PS-10's if anyone is interested.

Bring it all if you wish. No equipment will be turned down. Just don't plan on leaving them at my house to store for a month because you are "too tired and it's too late to pack them up." ;D

Ok all... I have been busy getting ready for the latest round of the San Antonio gathering. So far I have some committments from some great individuals! ;D
Come one, come all... come starting at around noon (and anytime after). Stay all day and night... I have absolutely zero committments on Saturday, July 9th.
I will have some giveaways to include some custom cables, my personal reference CD's (everyone gets one of these babies!), and maybe some other goodies I can find laying around.
My extremely modest home theater consists of an Infinity Kappa 9 front left/right with Infinity Kappa center and a mix of surrounds to include our very own much loved EMOTIVA surrounds! If you have ever wondered how home theater would sound with a great pair of headphones... come take a listen (the room is 11' x 11').
And in the living room system I will have an excellent pair of B&W Matrix series speakers/subs and a pair of original KEF 105's.
Please feel free to bring whatever speakers you wish. I will also have a small tube integrated on hand for anyone wishing to see how their speakers sound with a 10w tube amp.
I will have food and several different standard beverage options. Feel free to bring your musical beverage of choice.
I am excited (and not just because the wife and kids are gone) and honored to host a few good friends... old friends and new friends.

Another wildly successful SA GTG, thanks Brian for hosting, very sweet set up, I learned I need more subwoofers (about 3 or 4 more). Quite a lot of fun, good food and banter. Thanks everyone, can't wait for the next.
