Our gear for the Axpona show is on it's way! We are looking forward to seeing our old friends and meeting new ones.
The show is next Friday and Saturday, June 24-25 at the Affinia Hotel located at:

Sorry I can't make it despite the opportunity to also meet some friends and family in the area. My department manager will be on vacation and I will have to steer the ship. It also helps me save for the XMC-1 and the ERS-12s. Will you have a 250 wpc version of the XPR-7 on demo?

Noticed that I did not say "The" 250 wpc version, as if one was promised? I just thought it up to sow an idea just in case Emo was not thinking about it. Treat it as humor. I wasn't serious! In fact, in the thread about the XPR-7, I openly stated that the XPR-7 was overkill for me, and I would prefer a lesser powerful version. I few other posters agreed with me. Please don't get angry or lose sleep over this. ;D

Joking or not, it's an interesting idea. I think a 200 and a 400 would make sense, much like the Sunfire lineup. The problem with that is, usually the 200 price point wins out so often, the 400's become not sold or hard to find or really, really premium priced. I'd rather see a well-built, single offering, at the top wpc they can reach and sell it in volume, to amortize the total, overall cost. I think that's what we now see with the XPA lineup. |

djoel: I will be going with my son on Saturday, should be there by 10:15. I posted question about who is going to show on AVS, but got 0 replies!! Strange, with all the members, not one reply.. Anyway anxious to hear in person the Ultra 12 sub and the XPA-2 amp..See you there..

It was pretty funny, there was crackle on his mix, not much, but it was there, and he denied it was there. Obviously the source, turntable, and/or needle he used to make his mix wasn't perfect. |
