Ronny, It just wouldn't be EmoFest without you my friend. Oh and I managed to dodge your wheelchair the last two years, so I have confidence I will this year as well. Meep-Meep!

I wish, but I'll probably be busy moving into the the new house. Well, hopefully. Otherwise I would definitely try.

Monkumonku My nickname from grade school thru high school was RoadRunner because RR were my initials and I was always the fastest runner in the school. Beep Beep. ;D ;D In gym class I was able to run the 50 yard dash, running backwards, faster than any of my classmates could run it forwards. I was one of those weird people who love running just for the fun of it and I ran just about everywhere... I was rarely seen walking.

Every word of it, Bob. Fifty years ago I was an all-around athlete, lettering in four different sports... winning State Championships, Golden Gloves in boxing, and MN Twins offered me a contract to play pro baseball when I was 16 years old. Those were the good old days. Now I am totally disabled and must keep my legs elevated to heart level, or higher. I suffer from an orphan disease, RSD, otherwise known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome. RSD is a chronic pain disease that attacks all the autonomic systems in the body. The Medical community says that RSD is the most painful condition known to medical science and those cursed with it suffer 24/7. The sad thing is most doctors haven't even heard about RSD, let alone know how to diagnose or treat it. I am never supposed to go longer than 15 minutes without elevating my legs. If I exceed this limitation, I pay a severe penalty in increased pain. Whenever I take my wife out for dinner I will spend one to two weeks laid up in bed waiting for the pain and swelling to subside enough to allow me to get up and sit in my recliner. Not a fun disease. Insomnia and memory loss are also part and parcel of this disease. I average about 10 hours of sleep per week.

RR, Sorry to hear about this, don't see that you have much memory loss. You have answered lots of questions with some of the best answers on this forum IMO. I have taken your advise many times and you have always been dead on with your suggestions or input. Would like to make it to emofest just to meet you, Chuckienut and LOTR. I am going to try and make it this year, but I can tell you my wife will not come, she is pretty tired of hearing about this hobby of mine and some of my others.

Wow, RoadRunner! I had no idea. What's even more amazing is that you're not a crabby and bitter person given what you're going through. I admire you and bow to your resolve. I'm sorry that you're going through this.
