We are huge fans of Breaking Bad on AMC. Especially Dan and Freddie. The long-awaited Season 4 starts this Sunday at 10 PM/9C. Is anyone watching the show? If not, I seriously recommend the DVD's or downloading past seasons. It's one of the smartest shows on television. But you need a 'downloader' for that right?  Jessica, my PC doesn't even have a DVD drive! Bob is not into Cable, Satellite, Downloading, DVD, VHS, ...at all! Only Blu-rays and MUSIC from concrete mediums!  I'm a Full High Resolution & Definition type of guy! From 'hard' software. You can call me 'old-fashion' if you want to. But in the year 2011 though, with the 2011 Music & Video material. |

I've seen 1-2, I don't think I ever seen 3? On blu ray and I was hooked..I can't wait to see the next chapter of this great show.
Thanks I'll tivo it, as I can never remember when they're on.

season 4 is good so far. One thing I'm noticing is that there are becoming too many "facepalm" moments. Where whats happening is just stupid and makes you shake your head. Though all shows like that have the same moments. I used to LOVE weeds but it's so over the top now and much to unbelievable that I just quit watching. Shows like that have to be believable IMO so that the viewer can relate somewhat. Breaking bad so far has been doing a great job IMO.

I think the first two episodes of "Breaking Bad" season 4 have been brilliant, and Bryan Cranston is giving another Emmy-calibre performance.
"Weeds" might get good again given the direction it is apparently headed, but I agree, it lost its charm more than a season ago.

Gotta say, since no recent posts, Season 4 was absolutely awesome. Great build up/ classic scenes / and fantastic finale.
Could be content with how things ended.....( as 4 seasons were the plan from the start )but we do have yet another season to look foward to... If you have not watched it....do!

Absolutely, a fantastic season. Just as good or better than the others before it.
I think it will be interesting to see where they go from here...I almost have no expectations after that ending.

My parents recommended this show to me recently, and I must say I've been addicted! My wife and I have been watching 4-5 episodes per night and have to force ourselves to go to bed lol. By far one of the best shows ever made.

Someone at work recommended the show to me. When he told me what it was about, I was thinking, this doesn't sound at all interesting. But he kept raving about it. Then my daughter said it was good, so I gave in and bought the first season on Blu Ray.
I have been hooked since then. I love this show! I am in the middle of season 3.. I have deliberately slowed down the pace of watching so that I don't run of out episodes to watch. ;D
That and Walking Dead are my favorites.

It's crazy how good AMC is now. I think of it as the poor mans HBO lol. Mad Men, Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. All great shows.
