Ctuna I agree with Chuckienut. Emotiva's Reference Series speakers have wide dispersion and I am not sure about the impact you would encounter with your planned installment of the ERT-8.3. It may be that there will be no negative impact, but I would want to get Lonnie's input before hand. In all the years I have been in this hobby I have never encountered this type of installation with full range towers. This is virgin territory for me so I have no idea what to expect with your intended installation. Lonnie worked with Vance Dickason in designing these speaker for Emotiva; and, I suspect he could offer some sage advice on your planned usage of the 8.3 speakers. Be sure to share what Lonnie's response is. It might prove useful to other Lounge members. Agreed, even with ~2ft to the side walls I have my 6.3s toed in quite a bit.
