lowest model in x09 series with dual hdmi outs would be the 809 from onkyo, lowest in a pioneer would be the vsx-lx53 or vsx-2021, yamaha rx-a810/rx-v867/rx-z11/rx-z7/rx-v3900, denon avr-3311/3312/4311/4810/5308ci(a)/avpa1hdci(a)/a100..

with the denon's I listed all models with 2 hdmi outs any under 810/867 are all 1 hdmi out..

looking at the onkyo avr's it looks like the 709 is the lowest for dual hdmi though the last time i looked at onkyo's US website they depicted 1 hdmi, so you will need to go to a store to look to see whether it has 1 or 2 hdmi outputs, otherwise you're looking at 809/1009/pr-5508/pr-5509/nr-1008/nr-3008/nr-5008 otherwise you look at 705/706/707/805/806/807...
if ya looking for hdmi 1.4a support you will be quite limited to what you can and can't buy..


it's up to your budget in what you buy..

the onkyo 7 series and 8 series (until this year) didn't have dual HDMI out. The 809 definitely does. If the 709 does that might be my best bet since i'm assuming that also has pre-outs. Looks like a couple of the pioneer's you mentioned are Euro models. I was hoping to find a great deal on a Pio VSX-33 but looks like there aren't any authorized retailers that have it NEW anymore. I really want to focus solely on the following:

dual hdmi out
at least 5.1 preouts
ethernet for firmware
at least 5 hdmi inputs

my history is 100% with Onkyo but i'm considering branching out.

as I said with the onk's you'll need to check instore, not sure if we get the euro models here in Australia, I believe we get the asian models for the most part which has dual hdmi..

vsx-33 was retired some month's ago I believe for this years model..

I've been looking at pio's aussie site..
the models i've suggested all have what you need..

my guess vsx-2021 is a new model not yet out in the states, the other unit may be listed as an elite unit..

elite vsx-53, sc-35, sc37, vsx-33 (possibly discontinued) would need to check for available stock..
